Getting Rid of Gophers

Gopher poisons and gopher traps are the best way of getting rid of gophers. Gophers are burrowing rodents that spend most of their time underground. Gophers eat mostly vegetation and roots that they encounter when tunneling. They may even pull small shrubs or plants underground. Gophers are larger than moles and do not venture far form their burrow usually a few feet at most.
To find gopher runs use a probe and dig a hole with a shovel and insert the gopher trap in the hole. Make sure to cover the gopher trap hole that you dug so it is tight from light and wind a bucket or piece of plywood with a rock on top does the trick. Most traps come with instructions.
